Amtrak to New London, CT.

Driving Directions:
From Chicago take I-80/I-94 --Turnpike through Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvania preferred route is through Wilkes-Barre Scranton to I-84 this will go through New York and cross into Connecticut. Consult Mapquest for detailed directions.

Canterbury, CT is located in the northeast corner of Connecticut near I-395. No matter which route you take you will end up on I-395.
EXIT 83A- toward LISBON/CANTERBURY. At the end of the ramp make a left. Next intersection will be a stop sign/blinking light. Continue straight (other options are to go to the left or turn right)
Go north on Rte. 169 for approx. 10 miles on 169 to the next stop sign/blinking red light. This is Rte 14 (Prudence Crandall Museum is on the SW corner).
Turn left on Rte 14. We are the first house (big red house across from the pond) behind Prudence Crandall on the left across the street from Dunkin Donuts.

(If you chose to take I-84 East to New York City, you are on your own. Suggestion-- it is easier to take the Tappan Zee Bridge to I-95 than going through New York City and over the George Washington Bridge. Consult Mapquest. Rand McNally, your GPS or a crystal ball for this route.)
